    On first glance, this Flatbed Ford full of grinning college students might seem as if they’re spending the summer break simply playing around. But they are doing so much more. The group dedicated their summer to a cause they’re passionate about: Animals. Through Christian Veterinary Missions, these twenty-one veterinary students from the University of Georgia, University of Auburn, Lincoln Memorial, and Western spent a couple of weeks at the Navajo and Apache Reservations doing small and large animal surgeries and vaccines under the guidance of veterinarian Dr. Mary Peter and Dr. Billy Myers.   • Vow Renewal on the Corner

    In addition to the abundance of red white and blue on the corner for this 4th of July… there was also some enchanting cream-colored lace and heartfelt words about love and social justice. Five years ago, stagehands James and Elizabeth Bircher wed in San Antonio and made a joke which became a promise that: “…every five years, somewhere, James and Elizabeth would renew their vows in the presence of family and friends.” From the Bircher’s Vows For their first five-year vow renewal, they came to Winslow Arizona, where some family members who missed the wedding live.   • Gypsy The Route 66 Panel Truck

    Happy 4th of July! Today is the day we all love to express our freedom. One of the coolest ways to do that is to hop in a classic American car and cruise Route 66, like Gypsy the Route 66 Panel Truck recently did. On first glance, the robin’s egg blue panel truck is clearly a beauty… But on closer inspection, the 1941 Chevy Panel Truck known as “Gypsy” transforms into something truly special. This one-inch stripe around the circumference of the panel isn’t any old stripe. Look closer now. That stripe is a mural depicting Gypsy traveling Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica.
